Yarelis Ramos

Yarelis (Yari) Ramos Negron, beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend left us abruptly on February 26, 2022, at the fragile age of 37.  Yari was born September 17, 1984, in Hartford, CT where she resided all her life.  She graduated from Weaver High School in 2002.  Yari worked as a security officer and was very passionate and proud of her job.
 
Yari leaves behind her mother Ivette Negron and brother Nathaniel Negron.  She also leaves behind her grandfather Jorge Negron, uncles Jorge, Javier, and Eliezer Negron, aunts Janet Ramos, Myrian Ojeda, Mariela Cruz, and Luz Santos, godparents Migdalia Santos and Cony Davila, and numerous cousins and extended family.   She was predeceased by her father Carlos Ramos, grandmothers Margarita Negron and Carmen Rivera, and aunt Jenny Cruz.
 
Yari was loved by all who were blessed to cross her path.  She was full of life, humble, warm, and caring to everyone she met.  She loved to sing, dance, and laugh and was always the life of the party. Her favorite music was R&B and she enjoyed dancing bachata.  She had a glow and a smile that would brighten anyone’s mood with her charming presence.  Yari was beautiful inside and out and loved the Lord with all her heart.  She will be greatly missed.
 
Please join us for a memorial service to celebrate Yari’s life. The wake is scheduled for Sunday, March 6, 2022, from 3:15 PM to 6:00 PM at De Leon Funeral Home located on 104 Main Street, Hartford, CT 06106.  The burial will be held on Monday, March 7, at 10:00 AM at Mount Cedar Hill Cemetery located at 453 Fairfield Avenue, Hartford, CT 06114.
 
The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support received during this painful time.
