Carmen Gloria Feliciano-Nieves, 77, was called home on Wednesday, January 05, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico to Vicente Feliciano and Manuela Nieves on September 30, 1945. After 1988 she then relocated to Connecticut with her three daughters.
Carmen was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and dear friend. She was also a mentor and confidant to many around her. Carmen was family-centered and had a heart of gold. To know her was to love her. Carmen will fondly be remembered as a woman of integrity, character, and faith. She was full of love, compassion, and understanding for others. She was always willing to give a helping hand or simply an encouraging word to those in need. Carmen was a woman of faith and had a close relationship with God.
The passing of Carmen will leave a permanent void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Carmen leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Carmen Ruth Matta and her husband Felipe Ramos, Yolanda Yvette Matta, Loyda Esther Matta; her grandchildren, Rosemary Medina, Kaysha Lee Davis and her husband Dallas Davis, Yaneliz Figueroa, Jessenia Medina, Steven Mendez, Michelle Figueroa, Yailin Ramos, Kevin Mendez, Jessmarie Mendez, and Jean Peter Mendez. She also had 8 great-grandchildren; Yariheliz Soto-Figueroa, London Davis, Liam Davis, Skyleigh Davis, Xander Gil, Genevieve Gil, Zayne Davis, and Arlo Davis.
May her soul rest in peace and light perpetual shine upon her.
