Jose Cortez of Hartford leaves behind wife and best friend of 20 plus years Brandy Evans (Cortez) and 9 kids, 8 boys and 1 girl.  Teres Rodriguez, Andre Cortez, Quiandr Cortez, Laysia Cortez, Amir Cortez, Xavier Cortez, Joel Cortez, Zaiyre Cortez, and Josiah Cortez.  Mother Evelyn Soler, Father the late Jose Jesus Gonzalez, older sister Jackie Solar older brother Edgar Soler Niece Deja Solar niece Zaryajan Easterling niece Kamyra Elmore nephew Chris Elmore Godmother Vicky Gamable godsisters Tahira Robinson and Shahira Robinson cousins Derric M. Jose (E) was a stay at home dad but would often also work side jobs here and there to provide for his family.  Jose was a loving husband, a devoted father, son, brother, and uncle.  A loyal friend if you need it and he had it to give always giving a helping hand.  Jose was fun and funny always the life of the party sarcastic but fun and so real. On his down time he loved riding dirt bikes he was a true rider and would always say we out side.  "Bike life"
